Task Management: Handle Internal Driving and Lifting Tasks with myleo / dsc

myleo / dsc

At LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart, the myleo / dsc logistics platform will be presenting a new option for the digital management of on-yard tasks. Task Management provides companies with transparency regarding their yard logistics activities. All intralogistics tasks, such as trailer, container or swap body exchange, can be mapped, from the notification of requirements and the planning of means of transport to the creation and allocation of transport orders for terminal tractor units.

“With our Task Management, our customers can make their intralogistics even more profitable by using the scarce human and material resources available in a more targeted and economical way,” says Christian Piehler, Member of the myleo / dsc Management Board.

As a new functionality of the myleo / dsc Yard Management System (YMS), Task Management digitizes internal transport requirements and creates the urgently needed transparency regarding the utilization of transfer vehicles.

Smartphone with Task Management App

For systemic mapping within myleo / dsc, the feature is used to schedule transport requirements into transport orders, which are then allocated to internal drivers as a worklist. This also includes the specific decoupling of tractor units from trailers, containers or swap bodies, which can significantly reduce throughput times on the factory premises. The targeted distribution of driving tasks means that the required means of transport are available at the right loading points at the right time. This enables more efficient utilization of MaFi trucks or reach stackers, etc.

As a counterpart to dispatching, a mobile task app is used by drivers to carry out and tick off tasks on the company premises. This means that everyone involved in the process is always informed about priorities and the current operating situation. This facilitates communication and prevents misunderstandings, e.g. due to language barriers.

In future, users will be able to individually configure the onsite activities such as driving tasks, but also quality controls or damage documentation, which are to be mapped with the help of Task Management.
